About Best NSFW Games
Best NSFW Games is an independent directory of adult games, for adults only. It does not host, sell or distribute any game, and its pages carry text and links only, with no screenshots, covers or trailers.
What gets listed
A listing is one adult game, or one store or platform that sells adult games. A game is listed when it can be obtained from an official page: a store that sells it, the developer's own site, the page where the developer publishes builds for supporters, or the platform that runs it online. The link on each entry goes to such a page.
One game gets one entry. Versions, seasons and editions are described inside that entry and do not get entries of their own. When a sequel or a spin-off is sold as a separate product, it is listed separately.
The platforms and the price in a write-up are the ones the game's official pages state. A price or a version number is given as the page prints it and carries the month it was read.
Characters are adults. A game whose own pages present its cast as younger than 18 is not listed.
Some things are outside the scope of the site: mainstream games that happen to contain sex scenes, sites that offer games without the developer's permission, and cracked or modified copies of any kind. If a game's official pages do not give enough to say something specific about it, it waits instead of being listed with filler.
Categories
A game joins a category because its own pages say so: the genre it names, the systems it lists, the tags it carries. A game can sit in several categories and still has a single write-up. The stores have a category of their own.
How the write-ups are written
Every write-up is based on the game's official pages: its store page, the developer's site, the news and patch notes published there. It says what kind of game it is, how it plays, where it runs, how it is paid for and what state it is in, as far as those pages state it. We have not played every game listed here to the end, and the write-ups do not pretend otherwise.
Pages are read again over time. When a game is withdrawn from its official pages or shut down, its listing is retired. A game whose development is paused but which can still be obtained stays listed, with that state and its date in the write-up.
How listings are ordered
Within a category, the better-known games come first. Star ratings, where shown, come from visitors.
Money
Games and stores are not charged to be listed. An outbound link may be an affiliate link, which means we may earn a commission if you sign up or buy after clicking. That does not change which games are listed or what their write-ups say.
Suggestions and corrections
If a game is missing, you can suggest it through the submission form. If a listing has a fact wrong, or a game has changed its price or its platforms, send a note through the contact form. It is the only way to reach us.
