Adult games with a female protagonist
Playing as a woman changes whose story an adult game tells. Most of the medium is written around a male lead and the women he meets; these games put the heroine at the center, with her own goals and her own decisions about what happens to her. RPGs make up a large share: Claire's Quest - GOLD, Meltys Quest and Town of Magic all follow a named heroine through a fantasy world, and Third Crisis sends its lead through a town and nearby wilderness. What separates them is agency and tone. Some let the player steer firmly away from adult content, others build corruption or defeat into the mechanics. Read the content tags on each official page, and check whether the lead is fixed or one of several selectable characters.
