What the game is
Dreamcutter is a 2D action platformer for Windows, developed by Ten Pennyfingers and published by Shady Corner Games. The player controls a woman named Haley, who is trapped inside her own mind with her friend Lucia, and the way out runs through platforming levels, a scythe-based combat system and boss fights. It is a paid, one-time purchase sold through several storefronts, and the adult material is attached to a story about two women rather than a stand-alone gallery.
A reader who stops here should know the essentials. This is an action game first: movement and combos carry the play, and the story scenes are the reward for getting through the levels. It is built around a female protagonist and carries a yuri tag. It is also a Windows download only, according to the pages that describe it.
How it plays
The premise, as the Nutaku page tells it, is that Haley and Lucia are trapped inside Haley's mind and are trying to get out. They find the Dreamcutter, a mysterious scythe with an ulterior motive, which promises sexy rewards and a chance at escape. The page poses the central question directly: what strange dangers and exotic encounters will turn up inside your own mind?
The scythe is the core of the controls. The page lists it first among the game's features under the heading of unique movement options. The player can stick the scythe in a wall and use it to bounce, and the page names swinging, grinding, floating and wall jump options as part of a versatile movement and platforming kit. It encourages experimenting with the scythe to see what it can do and where it can reach, which points to a game where traversal is as important as fighting.
Combat is the second pillar, and the page calls it a stylish, satisfying combat system. A Dream Combo meter racks up points, and the page says that higher combos mean faster movement speed, so fighting and moving feed into each other rather than being separate modes. The scythe can be thrown and returned to keep combos going, and enemies can be sent flying far away or up into the air. Coins are collected during play and spent on upgrades that expand the game, which gives the levels a light progression loop.
The story is delivered through cutscenes and dialogue between characters. The page says the player discovers what the dream world is about through those scenes, and that the story, along with what it calls plenty of sexy and lust-filled moments, is something the player works through the game to reach. The page also promises unique boss fights that show off how powerful the Dreamcutter is in battle.
The store descriptions do not state how many levels or chapters there are. GOG tags the game with Metroidvania, Hack and Slash and Puzzle Platformer among others, and lists it as single-player with cloud saves, controller support and an overlay. Its copy of the description opens with a line the Nutaku text leaves out, that no lewd game before has been this smooth, and ends on the slogan about taking back your mind and body. English is the one language on every store page, and GOG marks it for both audio and text.
Content and themes
The Nutaku page gives the genre as Action, Adventure and Platformer, with the tags Female Protagonist, Yuri and Hentai. The FAKKU page for the same game labels it a 2D action platformer game, with the tags Hentai and Uncensored. GOG's longer tag list adds Fantasy, Atmospheric, 2D, Pixel Graphics, Mature, Sexual Content, Nudity, NSFW, Hentai and Psychological. Taken together, the pages describe a hentai game with a female lead, a yuri theme, and uncensored adult scenes.
The adult content is tied to the progression. The developer's description frames the sexual scenes as rewards and story beats, found through dialogue and cutscenes, rather than as something separate from the platforming. The premise is a dream world with a scythe that promises rewards. GOG prints a content notice listing risque outfits, sexual comments and adult situations, nudity, and sex scenes involving consensual sex, public nudity and toys, and states that all characters in the game are 18 and over.
Platforms and where to get it
Every page that describes the game names Windows. The Nutaku page lists Windows desktop as the platform, and the FAKKU page lists Windows with a 1.2 GHz processor and 4 GB of memory as the hardware line. GOG states the game is officially supported on Windows and gives a minimum of Windows 7 or later, a 1.2ghz processor, 4 GB of RAM, 512 mb of video memory and 500 MB of storage, with 16 GB of RAM in the recommended line. No page names a Mac, Linux, Android, iOS or browser version.
Ten Pennyfingers' platformer can be bought from Nutaku, from FAKKU's games section and from GOG, and all of them name Shady Corner Games alongside the developer. The GOG release is the one whose delivery is spelled out: its page says the copy needs no activation or online connection, and that the Galaxy client can be skipped in favor of an offline installer.
Price and model
Each store sells Dreamcutter as a single purchase, and the pages show no free-to-play layer, subscription or supporter tier. Nutaku and FAKKU ask the same amount: in October 2026 both pages carry $14.99, and Nutaku prints 1,499 next to its dollar price without a label.
The coins in the feature list are earned inside the levels and spent on upgrades there; the pages present them as part of play, with nothing sold for real money beyond the game. GOG displays what the game costs in one of three currencies, CHF, EUR or USD, following the buyer's selection. That page also promises full refunds up to 30 days and, in October 2026, shows the store's user rating of 3.5/5 from 4 reviews. The pages mention no paid add-ons, DLC or season passes.
Development state and version
As of October 2026 the game information on Nutaku reads version 1.3, with a download size of 1 gb and a release date of August 09, 2023. GOG's product details carry the year 2023 beside the developer's name. FAKKU's game details list language, platform, processor and memory but no version. The Nutaku page does not say whether further updates are planned, so what a buyer can rely on is the build number and the date.
Who it suits
Dreamcutter suits a player who wants an adult game that is mostly a platformer: someone who enjoys wall bouncing, combo chains and boss fights, and who wants a female lead and a story about two women. It also suits a buyer who prefers a single payment on a store such as Nutaku or FAKKU to a subscription or a free game with timers.
The caveats are clear from the pages. It is Windows only and English only, and the story stays with Haley, Lucia and the scythe rather than a large cast. A player who wants a long story-driven visual novel or a dating system will find the pages describe neither. A buyer who wants a promised roadmap will not find one either, because the Nutaku page read in October 2026 stops at version 1.3 and an August 2023 release date.
