What the game is
Drain Mansion is a 2D action platformer with horror trappings, developed by Kredyn and published by Shady Corner Games. The player wakes up alone inside a mysterious mansion and has to get out alive, while demons and succubi hunt for them. The Nutaku page lists it for Windows, Mac OSX and Linux, and it is a paid game sold as a one-time purchase.
The first thing to know is that it is a game of avoidance. The page describes the player as someone who needs to think, dodge and, most importantly, resist the tempting succubi. Fighting is not the main verb: running, hiding and solving puzzles are. That makes it a better fit for players who like tense stealth-and-puzzle platforming than for those who want a combat-heavy action game, and the adult content is attached to getting caught, which gives the genre tags Horror, Demon and Monster Girl their meaning.
How it plays
The setup, as the Nutaku page tells it, is that a mysterious mansion appears one day in the nearby forest. The player decides to investigate and loses consciousness. When they wake they are inside the mansion, alone, with no idea what happened. The only plan is to escape, which is made difficult by traps and demons who want to keep the player from leaving. The page asks whether the player will find a way out of the creepy place or give in to temptation and become succubus food.
The page then states what the player does. The game is an action platformer in which the player solves environment puzzles while avoiding the enemies that lurk in the place. The page spells out a list of verbs: run away from the deadly succubi chasing after the player's life energy, hide from the enemies patrolling the area, explore the eerie mansion and solve puzzles to get closer to the escape, and maneuver around the obstacles blocking the way to the exit. It adds that the player will fight against the special attacks of the most dangerous succubi.
The key features reinforce this. The page lists lots of puzzles, escaping and hiding from enemies, hand-drawn pixel art and animated scenes, and a hard mode for additional replayability. It says most of the enemies the player meets are voiced and that there are 2 different endings. Patrolling enemies and chasing enemies are named separately, so the player is asked both to stay out of sight and to outrun what has already seen them.
The page also offers an alternative for players who want it: it says that the player can simply enjoy getting caught and give in to the pleasure that will also be the last one. In other words, being caught is the game-over state, and the page treats it as content in its own right rather than only a failure. The 20 game over screens in the feature list belong to that side of the game.
GOG files Drain Mansion as a single-player game under Action, Platformer and Puzzle, and repeats the same description and feature list as Nutaku. Languages differ by store. The Nutaku and FAKKU pages list English, while the GOG page lists English & 9 more, among them Spanish, French, Italian, Hungarian, Russian, Japanese and Korean, each marked for both audio and text.
Content and themes
The Nutaku page gives the genre as Casual and Platformer, with the tags Hentai, Horror, Pixel Art, Demon and Monster Girl. The key features give the scale of the adult content as the developer states it: more than 40 unique scenes with enemies, and 20 unique, high-quality hand-drawn 2D CG game over screens. The FAKKU page for the same game adds a long tag list that includes Succubus, Witch, Femdom, Harem and Uncensored, along with Horror and Monster Girl.
The enemies are the monster girls of the tag: the description names succubi and demons, and FAKKU's tags add a witch. The art is described as hand-drawn pixel art with animated scenes, and the game over images as hand-drawn 2D CG. The horror tag matches the setting the description draws, an eerie mansion filled with traps. The page frames the adult content as a consequence of being caught by the enemies. GOG adds the tags Mature, Sexual Content, Nudity, Multiple Endings, Exploration and Puzzle Platformer, and marks the game as mature content recommended only for ages 18+.
Platforms and where to get it
Kredyn's game is sold on Nutaku, in FAKKU's games section and on GOG, and the stores do not name the same systems. The Nutaku page lists Linux, Windows Desktop and Mac OSX under Available On, which is where a Mac or Linux player finds the game named for their system. The other two stores name Windows alone. FAKKU's game details give the platform as Windows, with an x64 compatible processor and 4 GB of memory. GOG's page says Drain Mansion is officially supported on Windows and gives the minimum as Windows 7 or 10, an x64 compatible 64-bit processor, 4 GB of RAM and 300 MB of storage.
GOG describes its copy as DRM free, with no activation or online connection required to play. Its page says the Galaxy client is optional, because a fully offline installer is offered, and that Galaxy only adds achievement synchronization and cloud saves.
Price and model
Buying Drain Mansion means paying once. None of the store pages shows a subscription, a free-to-play layer, a supporter tier or paid extras. In October 2026 the buy button on Nutaku carries $14.99, with an unlabeled 1,499 beside it. FAKKU's page, read the same month, asks $14.19, so the two stores differ slightly.
On GOG the game is a one-time purchase as well, and the page shows the price in the buyer's selected currency, with CHF, EUR and USD on offer. The same page advertises full refunds up to 30 days and, in October 2026, shows the store's user rating of 3.4/5 from 2 reviews. The hard mode and both endings are part of the game as sold, according to the feature list, and the pages mention no DLC.
Development state and version
Nutaku's game information, read in October 2026, gives version 2.041, a download size of 431.56 mb and a release date of December 12, 2023. GOG's product details carry the year 2023 and the developer's name. FAKKU's game details give no version number, so a buyer comparing stores cannot tell from the pages whether each one carries the same build. None of the three stores says if a build after 2.041 is coming.
Who it suits
Drain Mansion suits a player who likes puzzle platforming with patrolling enemies, who wants pixel art with animated scenes and voiced enemies, and who plays on Mac or Linux as well as Windows. The 2 endings and the hard mode give a reason to play it twice, and GOG's wider language list helps anyone who would rather not play in English.
The caveats are practical ones. Fighting is only mentioned in connection with the special attacks of the most dangerous succubi, so a player who wants a combat-focused platformer, a long story or branching relationships is looking at the wrong kind of game: the pages describe an escape built around being chased. Mac and Linux are named on the Nutaku page only, the price depends on the store, and the horror framing and the game over scenes are central rather than optional.
