What Comix Harem is

Kinkoid's superhero parody, Comix Harem, is a harem RPG that is free to play, and Nutaku credits the studio as developer and publisher alike. The setting is a mirror universe of comic-book superheroes and supervillains, and the player builds a team of heroines, trains them and competes against other players. Play happens in a browser on a computer or a phone, at the studio's own comixharem.com or through Nutaku, with an Android app file on Nutaku and an installable web app from the studio. It costs nothing to start and may include in-game purchases, so the real question for a reader is whether a long-running, event-driven collection game with a heavy comic-book flavor and uncensored adult art suits them.

How it plays

The developer's own page frames the game as a "free lewd addictive RPG" in which the player is a hero in a world full of comic-book characters. The Nutaku description puts it in more mechanical terms: explore a mirror universe of comics girls, recruit them to your team, grow your harem, and build up your hero to defeat other players in strategic contests. The loop is a collection game with a competitive layer on top.

Progress runs through several systems that the Nutaku page lists one by one. Missions send the player out to find girls and invite them to the harem, and some can be rescued from villains or won over in the game's Pachinko mini-games. Each girl in the harem has an affection level. The page says that giving them gifts raises that level, which raises their skills. The superhero the player controls has a track of his own, which the page calls character buildup: equipment bought at the Market pushes his skills up.

Contests are resolved on stats and strategy. Under the heading "RPG Harem Performances" the page describes performances led with different strategies and stat management, in front of a judge the player has to impress. The developer calls this an advanced game design, and the stat and team-building angle is the part to read closely: the game rewards deciding which girls to level, which equipment to buy and when.

Competition happens in several places. The feature list has a "PvP & Leaderboard" entry that invites the player to challenge players from all over the world for the top spot on the international and national leaderboards. A separate entry covers the Sex Champions, who hand out girls and other awards when a harem's showing impresses them. Clubs let players team up for shared rewards, and the game page itself shows a club chat. The game page also carries a message that tells new players to come back when they have 15 girls in the harem, in the context of creating or joining a club.

Structure comes from time-limited content. The Nutaku page says each month brings events that introduce new girls and daily missions, and its listing shows a live event countdown. A story is told in visual novel format, with humor and references to comic books, video games and pop culture. The page also claims hundreds of uncensored illustrations that are accessible to all players for free, which is the developer's own claim and not a count made elsewhere.

Some details come from the studio's own news posts rather than the store page. A 2022 retrospective from the studio says Comix Harem got improved art, reworked side quests and the addition of Sex Champions and Places of Power that year. A news post from January 2022 announced that 4 side quests had been reworked after player feedback. The Nutaku page lists English and French as the languages, and the studio's FAQ page links an English and a French Comix Harem forum. The studio's features page describes Penta Drill, a mode the game's patch notes mention, as a PvP mode that runs on Drill Energy, an energy that refills over time.

Content and themes

The Nutaku tags show what the content is. Genres are Action, Adventure, Casual and RPG. Theme tags include Cosplay, Fantasy, Hardcore, Harem, Kinky, Nudity, Story Rich, Superpowers, Uncensored and Western. Gameplay tags include PVP, Leaderboard and Mobile Friendly. The Fantasy, Cosplay and Western tags go with the superhero setting, whose cast is drawn from comic-book heroes and villains.

The page states that the content is uncensored, and the developer's page calls it a lewd RPG, and its site sits behind an over-18 gate. The sexual content is tied to the progression systems: the Nutaku page says affection level raises the girls' skills, and the game presents its fights as sexual contests. Explicit content is a core part of the game and not an optional layer.

The tone is humorous and parodic. The page promises plenty of humor and hilarious references, and that matches the studio's broader branding as an independent studio providing what it calls positive sexy entertainment.

Platforms and where to get it

Three entries stand on the "Available On" line of the Nutaku page, Android, PC Browser and Mobile Browser, and the tag list adds Mobile Friendly. The developer's game address, comixharem.com, opens the game in a browser. The studio also offers the game on Nutaku, and the developer's page says the game is "also playable on Nutaku".

Android players get a "Download Android App (APK file)" button on Nutaku. Kinkoid's own answer for phones is a progressive web app: its 2023 install article lists comixharem.com among the .com games the PWA covers and says the apps work on Desktop, Android and iOS, added to the home screen or desktop straight from the browser. The same article admits the studio's earlier APKs had issues, which is why it built the web-app system.

The Nutaku tags include iOS, which fits the web-app route. The developer's pages name no App Store or Google Play listing for the game, so the web-app route is the one they describe for iPhone and iPad.

Price and model

The model is free to play. The developer's page calls the game free and the Nutaku page says "Free Games may include in-game purchases." Nutaku tags it Free to Play as well, and its feature list stresses that the illustrations are open to all players for free. The studio's FAQ page groups Comix Harem with its other harem games and gives that group sections named "Payments" and "Free Kobans", next to others on game features, events and account changes.

As of October 2026 neither the Nutaku page nor the developer's game page states what a purchase costs, so the size of the optional spending cannot be read from them.

Development state and version

As of October 2026 the Nutaku page lists a release date of June 14, 2021, and its news section shows weekly patch notes. The October 7th notes, labeled Week #41, announce a quiet week, with the teams described as busy building what comes next. The September 30th notes say the character Gecko Gal will be added to the Penta Drill pool on the 5th of October. The September 23rd notes report another week without additions.

In October 2026 the pages do not give a version or build number for the game. What they show is a live game with patch notes posted week by week, long after the 2021 release date Nutaku prints.

Who it suits

Comix Harem suits a player who enjoys long-running collection games with leaderboards, clubs and monthly events, and who wants a Western comic-book flavor and parody humor. It also suits someone who wants a free game playable in a browser, as a phone web app or on Android. Monthly events and daily missions favor players who log in regularly, and the stat and team-building side gives some depth for players who like optimizing.

It is a weaker fit for anyone who wants a self-contained story with an ending. The story is delivered in visual novel format, but the structure is an ongoing service with events, and progression depends on the girls-and-equipment loop. Players who dislike competitive ladders, daily missions or timed events will find a lot of the game built around exactly those. Purchase prices are not on the store page, and the club features sit behind the 15-girl requirement. Languages are limited to English and French on the Nutaku listing.
